I didn't make that last post. At least, not all of it. I was starting to write up the post, talking about the good and bad coming along with getting older, I was even going to talk about how I planned to celebrate my birthday.
I never finished typing it.
I did go out tonight with my friends, but the time between when I started typing the post and when I left my house, it's a blank. Jess, thank you for decoding that for me. Zed, thank you for your kind words. And you too, Steph. I guess even I need a reminder at times that what I do is not in vain.
But what was with that code? I mean, was that actually me typing it, and I'm slowly being Hollowed? Or could it have been saved as a draft, somebody else got into my account and typed it?
Either way, password is changed.
Just getting a little nervous, what with this happening, the response to my one video on youtube, losing Sammie, everything.
Guess it's taking a harder toll on me than I thought.
Although, there may be a ray of hope, which is something we need more of.
If you aren't familiar yet, Kay of A Wand and A Prayer is my sister, and she has made a very intriguing discovery. If what she's found is real, the tides may slowly be turning for us.

He may still be alive.

Getting Older
Tomorrow, March 11, is my birthday.
I shall be turning 26 years old.
As you get older, you start to realize things.
For example, things that we believed in when we were younger have turned out to not be real. Things we didn't accept to be real, are.
Morals and values we once had changed over time, not because we wanted them to, but because we learned what was socially acceptable and what was needed to survive in life.
One of my current values is being questioned: helping others over helping one's self.
I wonder why i bother to help others. It seems like I don't get offered help in return. It's always "Help me, Lucien! Save me! Advise me!" But when it's the other way around............ "I need some help. Can anybody give me advice? Will somebody save me?"
My cries are not heard.
Simply cast on the wind.
Even worse, when I've done all I can, and it gets thrown away..................

Don't Trust Diana
That's what Sammie's message said to me. Thank you, Scott, for decoding it for me. However, I'm not sure if I can believe that message, despite how much I trust and care for Sammie. First off, Diana told me something would be hidden at the lake, and I found and saved Sammie there. Second, Diana also said the one missing child would be recovered there.
He was...............................
At least, what was left of him.
Donnie gave me the phone call yesterday. He said he received an anonymous phone call. There was a young boy's voice on the line, crying, asking for somebody to help him. Before he could say his location, he screamed and disconnected. The police department was able to track the phone number to one of those track phone things (you know, the ones parents buy for their kids to keep track of where they are). The GPS locator on it said the phone was at the lake. They went over there, and Donnie swears he saw the man in the suit again, over in the woods. He ran over there with the few cops that went with him. He lost track of the man, but he found the boy.
His body was impaled on one of the smaller trees. Garbage bags were hanging around, obviously with his internal organs inside them. Donnie says that no matter often he reads about it or has seen it, he still gets sick to his stomach. I probably would too.
Donnie asked me something yesterday. He said that he knows I know something more about what has been happening. He asked me what I can tell him about these missing children and the murders. I can't tell him anything. He's already seen Slenderman. I don't want anything worse happening to him. And thats exactly what I said to him. I said "Believe me. The more you know, the more danger you are in. Just let me worry about the worst part of it." Donnie said he didn't really understand, but that he trusts me. He feels like I may be a great asset to the case, which is why he keeps calling me. It's almost like I'm a citizen's consultant to the cops. Too bad it doesn't come with good pay, hehe.
In other news, we have lost Jeff. Another of us has fallen in the battle. My heart goes out to Cheska for this sad turn of events. We have regained Ava, though. But I think that we need to keep an eye on her. Who knows what Redlight may have done to her. Storm has managed to remain safe so far in NYC. Spender has left my sister's place, and Kay is still relatively safe. My injuries are healing pretty well, but not fast enough. I'm surprised I haven't dealt with Nebula again, or even Vindicta.
Maybe my luck is turning around.

She Has Left
Sammie.
She's gone.
Why did I go back home last night?
I should've stayed there with her.
It seems there was no sign of forceful entry at Kay's, so that means one of two things: either He came and took her himself, or she left of her own accord. That means Nebula and Vindicta didn't come take her, which makes me a little relieved.
Kay called me and told me, and that there was a note left there for me, addressed directly to me.
Dear Lucien,
Thank you so much for everything. And tell Kay I said thank you as well. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to repay you guys for what you’ve done.
As of right now, I have enough of a grip on myself to write this. So I’m asking you not to follow me. Don’t help me anymore. I really appreciate what you’ve done, but I don’t want you getting hurt any more than you have already been because of me. On that note, I hope you heal up alright. And I hope I can lead Nebula and Vindicta away so you don’t have any extra proxy activity. So, one last request: Stay safe, alright? Send my well wishes to Kay as well. And thanks again for everything.
-Sammie
There was still a piece of Sammie inside her. I won't lie, I shed a few tears over this, because Sammie was there. I want to follow her, I can't let her get taken by Nebula and Vindicta again. But damn these injuries, I can barely even go into work or drive, let alone chase after her. Not sure what to do.
There was something else, though. I found it in very small print on the back of the note, underneath my name.

Code, obviously, but I have no idea. I'm not exactly the best with codes, but I'll try to figure it out over the weekend.

Home For Now
I'm actually back at my house now. I couldn't keep my parents worried. I went straight to Kay's after I was released from the hospital. I called my parents and simply told them I was staying by her for a night. They were gonna notice me limping, so I figured i'd stay off it a bit first before going home, let it heal a little.
Sammie seemed, well, unresponsive to almost everything. I mean, she accepted the food that Kay gave her, even accepted a hug from her. I dont know if she reacted to it, but when I hugged her, I didn't feel anything. The only time I got any kind of response out of her was when I showed her Darby's blog. It wasn't much, just a gasp, but after that, she was back to her Hollowed out self. I wish I could contact Jeff, if he's even still alive, or Cheska. If I could figure out how to make the cure, I could heal Sammie myself. Until then, I'll keep my eye on her as much as I can, as will Kay, and her other house guest.
Spender. I got to meet this man who had kissed my sister. Didn't really get to interact with him. I think he felt the same awkwardness in the air I did. He kissed my sister, now meets her brother, and under the wonderful circumstance of having been hospitalized for fighting a proxy to save a Hollowed that is currently staying there as well. He seems like a decent fellow, but for now, I remain watchful of him as well.
I guess I'm starting to slowly understand why people say you shouldn't band together when it comes to facing this monster. You never really know who you can trust anymore. Afterall, Sammie got Hollowed out, Cynthia has become a tool of Redlight, there was even a point where people didn't know if they could trust Zeke and his "madness" posts, as I dub them, at the end of Seeking Truth.
Maybe it was wrong for me to go after Sammie, to fight Nebula.
No, it wasn't. I had to save her. If not just for herself or myself, but for the memory of Darby.
So, I got home a few hours ago (it is 4:38am at this moment), and as I predicted, my mom was awake in the kitchen. She saw me limping and asked what happened, only knowing that Kay called her and told her I was staying with her a few days, and my cell phone had died. I told her the same thing I told Donnie at the hospital: I went to the lake to get some fresh air, heard some strange noises in the woods, went there and found Nebula "attacking" Sammie, so I stepped in to save her. My mom called me an idiot for getting involved in something that wasn't my fight, but that she's proud I was willing to put myself on the line for somebody else.
Not my fight, she said.
If only she knew............
It is all of our fights.
And now, to top it all, I now have somebody coming after me, metaphorically speaking, on youtube. I found this when I got online before.
TOO LATE
It was posted as a video response to my last video, where I was attacked by a proxy.
It is simply the part where I ask the proxy what he and He wants, and his warning to Stop before it's too late, but distorted. After that, there is a quick message at the end, saying "It Already Is."
So, what is it too late for?

Oh God
My head.
Getting hit with a baseball bat in the head is not fun. I don't advise anybody to try it, unless the person being hit is a proxy or a redlight.
I'm still in the hospital (Palisades, Kay, so you know where I am), but they said they can release me tonight. Now that I'm conscious and somewhat aware of things again, they just wanna run a few more tests on me. Sammie is still by my side, but she's not talking. She still has her mask on too. Won't let it come off. Guess that's part of her Hollowing, or Hallowing, or however people spell it nowadays.
Why did I end up in the hospital?
Fucking Nebula.
I should explain a little as to what lead up to this.
I managed to have one conversation with Sammie when she first escaped from Nebula. She didn't know where she was, as in what state, but she said she knew she was in a town called Springfield. Not exactly a big help, considering the number of states that have a town called Springfield, but I took a risk and I had driven down to Springfield, hoping I could find a sign of her there. Unfortunately, I found nothing. So either I was too late and she moved on, or it was the wrong state. I lost a bit of hope, until the other night.
Nebula posted on Sammie's blog, saying she was taking Sammie to the lake for some fresh air. At first, I thought that it was nothing of importance, but then I remembered what Diana had told me: something was being guarded at the lake. I took yet another chance. Yesterday, when I got out of work, I drove to the lake by me. I took my cane-sword with me, so as not to really be conspicuous. I walked around the lake and found nothing. I took a deep breath, and I risked walking into the woods.
I didn't have to go far. I guess it was maybe about 100 feet in, there was a small clearing surrounded by trees. This is where I had my play sword fights as a kid. This time, I saw two people there. One of them had a mask on, and the other didn't. The one without the mask. She was a few inches shorter than me, fair skin. Long blonde hair, blue eyes, somewhat skinny. Kinda attractive. I felt that this was Sammy, and Masky there was Nebula. They were both just standing there. So, I called out.
Me: Sammie!
Mask-less: Hello Lucien.
Me: Um.......Sammie? Are you ok?
Mask-less: I am not Sammie. (points at the figure in the mask) That is Sammie. She's rather quiet. But she is well. As am I. It is a pleasure to meet you, Lucien.
Me: Nebula. You bitch, what did you do to her?
Nebula: Me? I did not do anything. She just happens to be the quiet type of Hallowed.
Me: But it's because of you she is like this. How dare you come after my friend!
Nebula: I do what my Master asks of me. She brought herself into this world. I merely helped her choose the correct side.
Me: Your Master? I will tell you what I think of your Master! (pull the sword out from the cane)
Nebula: Would it not be easier to use your words, Lucien? We wouldn't want Sammie getting hurt here, would we? (she pulls a baseball bat from a sheath on her back)
Me: Words won't save Sammie. Only action.
Nebula: You won't be saving her. She will be staying with me.
Me: We'll see about that. (start walking forward, sword pointed at Nebula)
At this point, Nebula raises her bat and holds it to defend herself. She pushes Sammie out of the way, and that's when I charge in.
You know, I always forgot that I don't exactly have much speed. For a younger girl, though, she moved fast with that bat. Almost like it didn't weigh anything. I'm just thankful I've been working with my sword for years, or I never would have kept up.
I managed to cut across her clothes and arms several times, but she slammed me with the butt of the bat in my right leg, right where I got kicked by the horse and punched by the proxy by my job. I'm limping at this point, but not done yet. I'm not losing Sammie when I came this close to saving her. I manage to parry the bat out of Nebula's hands, and I stabbed at her right arm. I didn't run through it, but did start bleeding. I pulled back and stabbed her right leg too, creating the same effect. She screamed in pain, and I took this moment to grab Sammie and start running. Before I got far, though, Nebula caught up to me and swung the bat at my head. I ducked almost in time, but still got a good amount of the blow. I turned around, and Nebula caught my left arm with a pocket knife. She stabbed it hard and deep. There was a huge gash, so much blood coming out. I pulled the knife out and I threw it at her, but she ducked down. As she did that, she recoiled in pain again from the stab to her leg. I ran as best as I could with Sammie, got into my car and started driving to the nearest hospital. I passed out as I was parking and managed to get what I could out in my entry.
They stitched up my arm here, and they said I only have a mild concussion, thankfully.
Sammie, though.
She's Hallowed. She won't respond to me. Barely even a twitch. I don't know what to do. I would try to contact Jeff The Keeper, but he's decided to sacrifice himself. I need Cheska. She has the cure. She can help me here.
Ugh, the doctors are back, ready to take me for testing. When it's done, they said that Donnie is here too, and that he wants to ask me questions about what happened. At least it's him I'll be talking to, not any other cops who wouldn't listen.
Kay, when I'm done here, I'm coming over by you. Sammie is gonna need a place to stay. I'll be sticking around too, just to keep an eye on her.

I did it
Updating in the car
Driving to the hospital now
Can't see straight
Lots of blood loss, damn that knife
But it doesn't matter
I told you Nebula...............I didn't abandon her.
I told you Vindicta................I would save her.
I may not be a great man, but I can say today was a success.
Darby, this one is for you.
I got her.
I got Sammie.
There it is, the P
