She Has Left

She's gone.

Why did I go back home last night?

I should've stayed there with her.

It seems there was no sign of forceful entry at Kay's, so that means one of two things: either He came and took her himself, or she left of her own accord. That means Nebula and Vindicta didn't come take her, which makes me a little relieved.

Kay called me and told me, and that there was a note left there for me, addressed directly to me.

Dear Lucien,

Thank you so much for everything. And tell Kay I said thank you as well. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to repay you guys for what you’ve done.
As of right now, I have enough of a grip on myself to write this. So I’m asking you not to follow me. Don’t help me anymore. I really appreciate what you’ve done, but I don’t want you getting hurt any more than you have already been because of me. On that note, I hope you heal up alright. And I hope I can lead Nebula and Vindicta away so you don’t have any extra proxy activity. So, one last request: Stay safe, alright? Send my well wishes to Kay as well. And thanks again for everything.

There was still a piece of Sammie inside her. I won't lie, I shed a few tears over this, because Sammie was there. I want to follow her, I can't let her get taken by Nebula and Vindicta again. But damn these injuries, I can barely even go into work or drive, let alone chase after her. Not sure what to do.

There was something else, though. I found it in very small print on the back of the note, underneath my name.

Code, obviously, but I have no idea. I'm not exactly the best with codes, but I'll try to figure it out over the weekend.

  1. Oh fuck.

I cracked the code. It wasn't hard, I ran it through a translator site which is helpful with cracking a number of codes. Long story short, the message says this:

    "Don't trust Diana."

    Be very careful, Lucien.
